Limit Orders
A limit order lets you specify the exact price at which you want to buy or sell a token, unlike a market order, which executes immediately at the current market rate.
1. What is a Limit Order?
A limit order lets you specify the exact price at which you want to buy or sell a token, unlike a market order, which executes immediately at the current market rate.
Example:
Let’s say $HYPE is trading at $1.00 and you believe it will drop. You can place a limit buy order at $0.90. Your trade will only be executed if the price reaches $0.90 or lower.
Similarly, if you own $HYPE and want to sell it for at least $1.10, you can set a limit sell order it will only trigger when the market hits that price or better.
